How much will this cost me?
Undetermined. Depends on where you buy your parts from.
Is this an easy robot to build?
If your experienced with BEAM, then probably. If you aren't experienced then most likely.
What will this tutorial leave out?
Nothing will be left out in the building aspect of this tutorial. But you should know where to order parts from (I'll have a list of what parts you need later on) And I won't be covering things like how to solder, etc. You can find those things in the tips & tutorials section of my website.
If I have problems, can I contact you?
Yes, you may contact me through

Now I'll go into a little bit of detail about the walker that you will be building in a short bit. This section is to give you a glimps of the workings and understanding of the walker.
The main brains of the walker will be a bicore. A bicore is made of a resistor, two capacitors and a 74xxx240 IC. You can use a 74HCT240 IC if you plan to use a motor driver (the h-bridge) with the walker. If you plan on not building a motor driver then use the 74AC240 IC instead.
The walker will be a two motor, four legged one and will be able to climb up small objects.
Mechanics are going to be very important in building this walker.
